We’re BACK!!

We will be operational on a phased basis from next week for in-house classes. We have now installed plexiglass frames and students will be one side while teachers will be the other side for the duration of classes.

It is not imperative that students come to the studio for classes as we are offering online lessons.

There are some other protocols:

Each student will be obliged to handwash before class (facilities provided at the studio)

We will partake in a Reminder of respiratory hygiene and coughing etiquette ahead of our first class back and periodically while necessary.

Please make sure that you have your own lyrics with you if you need them. Preferably learn the song.

When coming in to class and when leaving, we do so in adherence with social distancing protocols. i.e. staggered leaving and entering. For in-house classes we will be ending the class at about 25 minute mark in order to not have crossover between classes and to allow the teacher to wipe down equipment, furniture, etc. Online classes will remain at 30 minutes.

We ask that people arrive at the studio at the time of their class and not before so as to minimise crossover.

If any student is showing any signs of fever, coughing, sweating or has any worry that they may be showing any other signs as they relate to Coronavirus, that they DO NOT come to class until they have been cleared to do so. For example – do they have symptoms, are they awaiting a test, are they a close contact of a confirmed or suspected case, or have they been advised by a doctor to self-isolate or cocoon at this time. In this case if you feel well enough to sing, we can conduct the class online instead.

In the event of somebody becoming unwell during the class they will be moved to Waiting Room and a Parent/Guardian will be contacted immediately in order to have the student collected.

We will implement or deescalate as protocols change and as we learn more.

We sincerely thank you all for your patience and understanding.
